Developed website using the WordPress full site editor representing a leap forward in terms of user and developer experience in design flexibility. With this editor, users have the ability to design entire web pages, including headers, footers, and sidebars, all within a unified interface. Moreover, the editor provides access to a library of templates and blocks, enabling users to jump start their website creation process with professionally crafted layouts.
Tasks included
- Define the scope of the project, including features and functionalities.
- Design the site’s header elements with logo, menu, and navigation.
- Create the website’s visual design, including layout, color schemes, and typography, while working inside FSE interface.
- Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code when required for functionality.
- Utilize the drag-and-drop functionality to add and arrange content blocks, such as text, images, videos, and buttons.
- Ensure scalability and reliability of the website.
- Test website functionality across different devices and browsers.
- Configure server settings and regularly update content and features as needed.

Website tools and technology have evolved continually, shaping the way we create, manage, and interact with content. From content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Umbraco to e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, these tools simplify website development and maintenance. Moreover, advancements in web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, as well as JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and React have enabled the creation of highly interactive and visually appealing websites. I regularly use these tools and technologies on websites I design. I am also continually researching new methods to create more robust web experiences.
