I developed a large website for a manufacturing company specializing in flooring. They needed to update their older website to fix older technology issues. Use of WordPress API for phone application was updated.
Tasks included
- Define the scope of the project, including features and functionalities; Custom Sales Rep Search and Distributor Search
- Develop WordPress website utilizing Custom Fields, WooCommerce, WordPress API
- Create the website’s visual design, including layout, color schemes, and typography, while working with a designer
- Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code when required for functionality
- Create custom fields to use with API for inclusion in React Native phone application
- Ensure scalability and reliability of the website
- Test website functionality across different devices and browsers
- Work with 3rd Party react-native programmer

Website tools and technology have evolved continually, shaping the way we create, manage, and interact with content. From content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Umbraco to e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, these tools simplify website development and maintenance. Moreover, advancements in web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, as well as JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and React have enabled the creation of highly interactive and visually appealing websites. I regularly use these tools and technologies on websites I design. I am also continually researching new methods to create more robust web experiences.
