- Use Umbraco as the CMS to store all data
- Develop a custom method to filter recipes and stories
- Create the website’s visual design while working with a team of designers
- Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code for functionality
- Ensure scalability and reliability of the website
- Test website functionality across different devices and browsers
About
While working at Concinnity I had the responsibility to develop a CMS website for Bruce’s Yams that would be hosted on a Windows Server. I had some experience with Umbraco which allowed a great deal of flexibility in developing the pixel perfect front end that the client and their partner agency required. This is an older project that I am proud to have worked on.
PLEASE NOTE: My original website has been replaced with a WordPress clone. The screenshots in the above slider are from the original website. I understand this is an old project but illustrates my versatile skill set using various technologies.
*This persuaded me to start using WordPress

This website along with other brands by McCall Farms were part of a branding initiative. They were all originally developed using the Umbraco CMS. They have since been replaced by WordPress. The updated websites still retain the original look and feel that I helped create.
Tools and Technology
Website tools and technology have evolved continually, shaping the way we create, manage, and interact with content. From content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Umbraco to e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, these tools simplify website development and maintenance. Moreover, advancements in web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, as well as JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and React have enabled the creation of highly interactive and visually appealing websites. I regularly use these tools and technologies on websites I design. I am also continually researching new methods to create more robust web experiences.
